The public is invited to attend two identical public visioning workshops, which will be held by the Tri-Lakes Metropolitan Planning Organization (TL-MPO) in an effort to update the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) through the year 2040. The MTP is a 25-year plan and the basic framework for all of the MPO’s transportation planning. The plan will identify future transportation needs in the Hot Springs urbanized area and guide the expenditure of federal, state, and local funds that become available for these projects.
